The 23-year-old has proven an excellent acquisition since arriving from Newcastle United during the summer transfer window of 2024.

Elliot Anderson is in ‘no hurry’ to resolve his contractual situation as leading Premier League clubs keep close tabs on the Nottingham Forest midfielder.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are all tracking a player who has developed significantly since moving to Forest.
The transfer took place in summer 2024 as Newcastle United worked to comply with financial regulations and offloaded Anderson to Forest for approximately £35million.
His 83 appearances for the club have propelled him into the England squad for the forthcoming World Cup and caused his market value to soar.
This has also sparked speculation that he could be tempted away from the City Ground during the summer with top English clubs showing interest.
However, sources close to Anderson say he has no plans to make any decisions prior to the World Cup and that ‘there have been no talks yet with any representatives from other clubs’. This contradicts suggestions that a move to Manchester City is already finalized.
Anderson still has three years remaining on his current deal and it is understood Forest are keen to construct their team around him rather than allow him to leave.
The report continues that ‘Anderson has ambitions but his commitment currently lies with Nottingham Forest’, before turning attention to aiding England at the World Cup in North America.
