Officers are seeking a man following an attack in Nottingham’s city centre where a male was struck from behind. The victim, who is in his 20s, was transported to medical care after collapsing and sustaining facial injuries during the incident on Victoria Street. Nottinghamshire Police have released a photograph of an individual they want to question about the event, which occurred at approximately 11.10pm on Saturday, February 21. Sergeant Graham Collington stated: “This was a nasty assault and the victim was fortunate his injuries were not more severe. Nevertheless, the attack affected him deeply, as well as his companion who was walking beside him at that moment. We are committed to securing justice for the victim. Our team has completed CCTV reviews, gathered witness statements, and performed intelligence checks, and we are now releasing a photo of an individual we wish to speak with, as we believe he may possess relevant information for our investigation.
