Manchester United are ready to offload eight players this summer and hope to raise £100m as they continue to chase Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson. According to the Sun , Manuel Ugarte, Joshua Zirkzee, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford are poised to be sold. And they will be followed by Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia who look set to leave on free transfers, in order to help fund their push for Anderson this summer. United hope that Barcelona and Napoli will make permanent moves for Rashford and Hojlund respectively banking them £64m in the process. United look set to revamp their midfield for next season with Anderson reportedly top of their wish list. But they will face stiff competition from rivals Manchester City who are also keen on the England international who has been excellent this season despite Forest’s struggles in the top flight. The Sun says both clubs won’t hang around when it comes to making offers for the ex-Newcastle midfielder who is going to be a key figure for England at this summer’s World Cup.
