Givairo Read, the Feyenoord full-back at the centre of a Nottingham Forest and Roma transfer battle, has admitted he is open to a move this summer.
The 20-year-old defender made an eye-catching senior breakthrough in the Dutch league last season and is a wanted man in this window. It is claimed that Forest have made three offers for the player, the latest one of which is between €21m-€23m (£17.9m-£19.6m), which have been rejected – but Forest have reportedly agreed a five-year contract with the player.
Now Roma are said to have launched a bid of €25m (£21.4m) and they are hoping to fly him back to Italy in the next few days.

Read has told Voetbal International in the Netherlands that he hopes he will get the chance to consider the decision himself.
He said: “It’s not that I think I have to leave now because I’ve learned all I can here, that is certainly not the case.
“I still have an awful lot to learn and I’ve only just turned 20. Having said that, I want to consider a transfer if that opportunity arises. You never know how many chances you get in life.
“If I don’t leave, then I will stay and I just want to play to win the title here. After that, the Dutch national team is the next step, I hope.”
