Nottingham Forest in triple transfer tussle for talent who made history as fresh claim made

Nottingham Forest will look to add to their squad this summer and one player has already caught their eye

Rangers’ Bailey Rice is said to be a target for Forest.

Nottingham Forest are said to be part of a three-club race to sign exciting Rangers prospect Bailey Rice this summer.

The teenager is reportedly primed to leave Ibrox this summer having grown frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities, and Forest are keen reports TEAMtalk.

Rice had been tagged as one of Scotland’s most exciting young talents and left Motherwell for Rangers in 2022.

His move to Rangers had been seen as a coup at the time at youth level, but that has not materialised into regular first-team football.

A move to England is now reportedly a possibility with Rice keen to explore his options and a switch to the Premier League could be next.

Teamtalk says that a host of Premier League clubs have began to talk to his representatives with Forest, Villa and Crystal Palace demonstrating how they can aid his progression.

It is also claimed that Schalke, Stuttgart and Ajax have all held discussions over a potential deal that would take him to Europe.

Either way, Rice now faces a big decision as to where he goes next as he looks to live up to his potential having made history at Rangers when he became the youngest post-war player to feature for the club in the league, aged 16 years and 137 days.
