A 14-year-old male from Nottingham faces allegations of planning attacks against individuals of non-white backgrounds and arson against local buildings in imitation of far-right extremists. The youth, who remains unidentified due to legal restrictions, reportedly accumulated equipment such as blades and tactical clothing in preparation for a terrorist act.
The minor allegedly identified potential targets including grocery stores and Islamic religious sites. During a court proceeding last month, the adolescent refused to accept the terrorism-related accusation. His next appearance is scheduled for May 6 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. A paper-based hearing occurred on Thursday, April 16, with the defendant not required to be present.
Additionally, the youth is accused of engraving offensive racial messages onto his tactical gear and affixing a live-streaming camera to his helmet. Investigators have found no indication that the teenager moved forward with any of his alleged schemes. The court has placed the minor in the care of local authority services.
