Nottingham Forest have revealed a spend of over £200m on transfers and sacking managers since the end of June.

The Reds’ accounts for the year ended June 30, 2025, have been published on Companies House.

The club referenced the departures of both Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou as well as player transfers since that date in the ‘post-reporting day events’ section of a 44-page document.

Nuno, Postecoglou and Sean Dyche were all sacked as head coach of Forest during an extraordinary season, with Vitor Pereira currently in charge at the City Ground.

Owner Evangelos Marinakis also notably splashed the cash during the last summer transfer window, with the headline arrivals being Omari Hutchinson for £37.5m and a deal with Manchester City for James McAtee costing close to £30m.

Anthony Elanga was also a high-profile departure to Newcastle United last summer.

“The income of these transfers, taking into account the applicable levies and sell on clauses, is £52.5m (2024: £0.6m),” said Forest in their published accounts.

“The net cost of these transfers and staff changes, taking into account the applicable levies, is £208.5m (2024: £48.5m).

“These transfers will be accounted for in the year ending 30 June 2026.”

England and Nike have launched the new home, away and goalkeeper kits to be worn at this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
