A beloved Nottingham street market is set to resume operations in the city center, offering visitors an array of culinary options, handmade goods and retail opportunities.
The event honoring independent businesses will occupy Old Market Square from Friday, March 27, through Sunday, March 29.
Approximately 90 vendors will be present, featuring street food offerings from The Bagel Project, Bombay Delicatessen and Yello Yard, alongside beverages served at the Blue Monkey Brewery bar.
Shoppers can browse numerous stalls offering items such as pre-owned apparel, greenery, beauty products and household items.
Family-friendly activities include sessions organized by The Bead Shop, which require advance registration, complimentary face painting and a classic hook-a-duck game. Craft workshops for families are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday.
The festivities will showcase live performances by musicians and artists from Nottingham, with acts performing world music on the main stage. The entertainment lineup was assembled by Rastarella from Cultural Vibrations.
Additional performances will take place along Smithy Row, featuring the well-known Rock Choir, drum workshops and The Dog Ross show scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
Various roaming acts will also entertain crowds throughout the event, including traditional Morris dancing performances across the weekend.
