Authorities have provided an update after two individuals required hospital care following an altercation in central Nottingham.

Emergency services responded to calls regarding a brawl at Victoria Bus Station, located behind the Victoria Centre, at 8am on Saturday (March 21).

A representative from Nottinghamshire Police stated two men were detained at the location and subsequently transported to medical facilities for care.

Both individuals, ages 26 and 30, have been discharged from hospital and remain released on police bail.

However, officials have not disclosed specifics regarding the severity or type of injuries sustained.

The segment of Woodborough Road spanning between Huntingdon Street and Mansfield Road remained cordoned off as authorities conducted their inquiry.

Two police cars along with several officers maintained the security perimeter, resulting in Nottingham City Transport (NCT) buses Sky Blue 60 and 61 taking alternative routes.

Investigators are still seeking additional witnesses to contact them regarding the incident.
