Emergency crews were dispatched to deal with a fire spreading between properties in a Nottinghamshire town.
The incident occurred at a residential property on Willow Gardens in Sutton-in-Ashfield at approximately 1pm on Tuesday, July 21.
According to the fire service, the flames originated from what appeared to be a shed and moved on to affect several neighbouring residences. A thick column of smoke was visible from considerable distances.
A representative from the fire service confirmed that while the blaze had spread, it had not caused major damage to any buildings and no casualties were reported.
Initially, three fire engines were mobilised to the location, though by the time of reporting, only two remained on site.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were also present at the scene, with photographs showing them positioned near one of the impacted homes as smoke continued to rise.
