A man aged 51 has been accused in connection with stealing charitable collection boxes from a place of worship and a shop in Beeston. Jorge Inacio is set to face magistrates after officers examined two offences that occurred within days of each other in the Nottinghamshire town. Investigators were informed that a collection receptacle was stolen from the Taybah Masjid on Victory Road on March 21, before another receptacle was taken from a grocery outlet at approximately 8:15 a.m. on March 23. Authorities indicated in their statement that they were notified when the containers were removed from the mosque on Victory Road on March 21 and from the supermarket around 8:15 a.m. on March 23. Jorge Inacio, 51, faced charges on April 12 relating to two theft-related offences. Inacio, who lives on Abbey Road in Beeston, has been released on conditions and is expected to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 1.
