Police are hunting for a suspect after a man was assaulted close to a pub in Beeston. Emergency responders attended High Road at around 12:40am on Saturday, April 25, after being informed that a male had been struck with an object. The assault took place outside The Jesse Boot pub, where officers set up an extensive cordoned area that stayed in place until after midday on Saturday. The victim suffered injuries that are not anticipated to result in lasting impairment, although he received hospital treatment, Nottinghamshire Police said. Detectives are now attempting to establish the identity of the other individual involved. Detective Inspector Ian Holmes said officers are asking anyone who was in the vicinity of High Road in Beeston in the early hours to get in touch. The attack occurred right outside a public house on this road, leaving a man requiring medical attention. Anyone who saw what happened or holds any information that could assist the inquiry should make contact immediately. Drivers who had parked their vehicles on High Road overnight are also being asked to check any dash-cam recordings they may have and submit them.
