Fire crews from nine fire stations were called to a residential property in Nottinghamshire where a fire broke out, resulting in the roof giving way.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service received an alert at 3pm on Monday regarding a house fire in Retford. The property was located on Swans Quay, just off Thrumpton Lane.
Firefighters from Worksop, Gainsborough, Collingham, Misterton, Blidworth, Parkway, Rotherham, Tuxford and Eastwood all responded to the scene.
Images from the location show the property’s roof has caved in and the windows have been destroyed. Emergency services have confirmed no injuries were reported.
Six firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus fought the flames as the fire was at its worst. An investigation into the cause of the fire is set to take place on Tuesday.
