A fresh dining venue featuring Indian and Persian cuisine is set to arrive in Nottingham.

Signage has appeared along Maid Marian Way for the upcoming establishment.

Lasani will occupy the spot previously held by Ludorati Cafe Bar. The unit has remained unoccupied since shutting its doors in October 2024.

The proprietors already operate an establishment bearing the same name on Church Street in Southwell. This contemporary Indian eatery marked its second year of operation recently.

In June the venue received the accolade of most popular restaurant at the British Curry Championship.

The upcoming city centre venue will blend Indian and Persian culinary traditions. While specifics of the menu remain under wraps, signature Indo Persian offerings typically encompass biryani alongside keema matar.

The team pledged an elevated dining journey where vibrant tastes, sophisticated décor and outstanding service converge.

Diners can expect draught Cobra and Madri on tap, while those preferring mixed drinks will also be catered for.

Traditional cocktail options include Mojito and Espresso Martini, though those seeking something distinctive may opt for the signature collection featuring the Golden Maharaja, blending vodka with fresh mango purée, lemon, honey and cardamom bitters.

An official launch date has yet to be confirmed, though arrival is anticipated for early September.
